Anna Bauer is a sociologist and research fellow at Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich. She has studied sociology, political science and philosophy in Munich and Caen.

Her primary areas of research include medical sociology, thanatology and organizational sociology, as well as digitalization and health services research.
