Anna Bauer is a sociologist and currently Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellow at Vrije Universiteit Brussel and part of the Brussels Institute for Social and Population Studies (BRISPO). Anna has studied sociology, political science and philosophy in Munich and Caen.

Her primary areas of research currently include digitalization and health services research, organizational sociology, medical sociology as well as professions and thanatology.
