Anna Bauer is a sociologist and research fellow at Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich. She has studied sociology, political science and philosophy in Munich and Caen.

Her primary areas of research include general sociology and theory of society, sociology of medicine, the study of death and dying, organizations and qualitative research methods.
